Ross H. Martin grew up in Armonk, New York. He attended University of Hartford in West Hartford, Connecticut and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Liberal Arts. As an English major, Ross concentrated on creative writing.
After college, Ross moved out to Los Angeles, California to pursue a career in film. He worked on a bunch of TV pilots and film sets including "Return of the Living Dead III" in the art department. Ross took his passion for film to Columbia College-Hollywood film school where he learned everything; producing, screenwriting, directing, editing, acting and cinematography. Ross produced, wrote, directed and edited short films mostly on 16mm. "The Turnaround" short film won "Best of the Fest" at the Rochester International Film Festival in 1996.

After film school, Ross produced, co-wrote and co-directed feature film, "Rubbernecking" starring Corbin Bernsen, Arye Gross, Renee O'Connor ('Xena, Warrior Princess') and Debra Wilson ('MAD TV'). "Rubbernecking" was at the IFP Market in New York and screened at various festivals.

Ross co-founded Screamfest Horror Film Festival in 2001. In 2012, Ross was the Founder and Festival Director of Social Media Film Festival in Las Vegas, Nevada. SMFF took place at the Mirage Hotel & Casino. Films that screened represented the world; China, England, South Korea, Bangladesh and the United States. Narrative films and documentaries were full of stories about social issues using social media; Facebook, Twitter, Craigslist, etc.

In 2008, Ross edited feature film, "War of the Worlds 2: The Next Wave" directed by and starring C. Thomas Howell for The Asylum.
While Ross lived in Las Vegas, Nevada for a few years, he wrote concert reviews for Vegas Seven Magazine. Some concerts included Crosby & Nash, Duran Duran, ZZ Top, Tesla, Scott Weiland & the Wildabouts, Matisyahu, Michael McDonald, and the Melvins.
Now back living in Los Angeles, California, Ross wants to take his 29 years of film experience and assist film companies with their copywriting needs.
